Hotels
We have chosen our wedding date to coincide with the peak of New England’s beautiful fall foliage season. While this means that our guests will be able to enjoy nature’s splendor in all its glory, it also means that it is one of the peak tourist seasons. October is also the home of “Haunted Happenings” in nearby Salem, MA, which draws hundreds of thousands of visitors from across the region. Therefore, it is very important to book hotels early.
Wylie Inn
We have arranged for a limited number of rooms to be held for our guest at a discounted rate at the Wylie Inn, which is attached to the wedding venue in Beverly, MA. On Saturday night there are Queen Bed rooms available for $189, and on Sunday night they have Queen Bed rooms for $169, King Bed rooms for $189, and Junior Suite rooms for $219. There is no availability on Friday night. The only rooms available Saturday are in our reserved block, but there may be additional rooms available outside our block on Sunday night at the negotiated rate. To book, call (866) 333-0859 and mention the “Rosania/Hecht Wedding”.
Homewood Suites
A block of rooms have also been set aside at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston-Peabody in Peabody, MA. Rooms with a single King bed or two Double beds are available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night for $209/night. To book, you can either call (978) 536-5050 and mention the “Rosania/Hecht Wedding” or book online using this link: http://homewoodsuites.hilton.com/en/hw/groups/personalized/B/BOSHWHW-ROA-20151016/index.jhtml?WT.mc_id=POG. Reservations must be made by September 12th.
Other Hotels
There are other hotels available in the area as well. The list below, which is by no means exhaustive, contains some lower-cost options. Although we have not arranged for a block of rooms to be held at these locations, we have verified that they had availability as of mid-May:
- Red Roof Plus Boston Logan Airport (Saugus, MA)
- Comfort Inn North Shore (Danvers, MA)
- Clarion Inn (Wakefield, MA)

Note: There is currently construction being done on Essex Street that has caused occasional road closures along the route to Tupper Manor given above. It is unlikely that the road will be closed over the weekend, but if it is, there will be detour signs that will lead you down Cole Street. Continue down Cole Street to the train tracks and bear right onto Cross Lane. After the tracks, take the first left onto Boyles Street and follow it until it ends at Hale Street. Turn left on Hale Street, and Tupper Manor will be 1000ft ahead on the right.
Please see the About the Venue page for more information.
Schedule
We would like to ask all of our guests to plan on arriving at Tupper Manor at 12:30pm so that we can have everyone seated before the ceremony starts at 1pm. The ceremony is being held in the conservatory, and access to that room will be limited once the ceremony begins.
Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony will begin at 1pm sharp in the Conservatory at Tupper Manor. Please try to arrive at least 30 minutes early.
Cocktail Hour
Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be available in the Dining Room and Oval Dining Room immediately following the ceremony while the Conservatory is prepared for dinner.
Wedding Reception
Dinner will be served at approximately 3pm in the Conservatory and dancing will take place in the Large Dining Room. The evening of fun and frivolity should wrap up by 6:30pm.
Gift Registry
We are registered at Amazon.com and Macy’s.
- Amazon.com Wedding Registry: Feel free to purchase these items from Amazon or any other store (such as Bed Bath and Beyond if you have one of their ubiquitous coupons). If you buy them somewhere else, please make sure to visit the registry on Amazon.com and click on the “Buying this gift elsewhere?” or “Mark this item as purchased” links.
- Macy’s Registry: Access online or request registry number 6400259 in a Macy’s store. We would prefer that items on our Macy’s registry be purchased at Macy’s for easier tracking, since there is no easy way for others to mark off gifts they have purchased elsewhere.
- Honeyfund Registry: If you prefer, we have set up a way for guests to sponsor fun extras on our honeymoon cruise.
We appreciate all gifts, but your presence and well wishes are what we are looking forward to the most. If you’re unable to attend the wedding, cards can be sent to:
Ms. Allison Rosania and Mr. Alexander Hecht
5113 Avalon Drive
Wilmington, MA 01887
Allison will not be changing her name, so please use the address above if sending anything after the wedding. Also, please keep this in mind when sending personalized gifts. First initials are fine (A + Z) as well as Allison & Zan, R & H, and Rosania Hecht.
